“Beautiful fall afternoon on the deck of Waypoint 622 in Brielle today. Look at the view. I had a Chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich which is a creation made with smoked ham and grilled chicken, melted swiss with honey mustard sauce on a brioche bun along with house made chips (incredible). I washed it down with a cold, local IPA. Jealous? You should be. Devon, our server was great. She played duet to a packed house and pulled it off flawlessly. Nice job and a nice person. My wife and our friend Barbara had the grilled brie and pear sandwich. Also delicious from the mmmmms and oooohs that I heard. I would have taken a picture of the food but we were all ravenous when we arrived with no self control. Enough said. A great afternoon. Waypoint 622 deck will be opened and serving alcohol until November 15, weather permitting. The bar is heated. The restaurant will be BYOB after that date, until spring. Take advantage of these nice fall days at the Jersey Shore.”

“Easily the best restaurant at the Jersey Shore. All of the food from appetizers to main course was prepared and presented exquisitely. I work in NYC and this restaurant could hold its own with the best seafood and modern American restaurants around. Nice location and live music at the bar are additional bennies. (pun intended)”

“Food was absolutely excellent! Atmosphere with candlelight and soft music, perfect evening topped off with the ability to bring your own favorite beer or wine. Best crab cakes, pure lump crabmeat. Duck was also unbelievable. Service great also. Best all-around dining experience I have had in a long time – and I eat out a lot! I would highly recommend it to anyone! By the way, this was middle of February 2016 inside dining. I saw some reviews that were not saying what I’m saying, but that must’ve been when they just opened perhaps. I can only tell you from my experience they certainly have it all together now.”

“What an improvement from the old UL. Its cleaned up and has atmosphere.  The crab cakes are the best I have had, our bacon appy was amazing!  Wait staff was upbeat and helpful. The wedge salad was large and super crisp.  This is going to be my go to place all year long.  Menu is interesting enough for a special occasion, or just a quick go to on the deck.  Larry and staff, keep up the great work. “Pleasantly surprised with this Union Landing bar change in ownership and major upgrade!  With new tall columns, they raised the roof figuratively and literally in this bar!  The single elevated level makes the view better all around and that isn’t the only upgrade.  You no longer have to hunt and poach for a table – a civilized wait list is at the door with a buzzer that alerts when your table is ready, the menu is more elegant with seafood and special wraps and the overall feeling is more welcoming and fun.  The crowd is neither too young or too “jersey.”  This may be our new go to for summer 2015.”
