ShoreFoodie.com just presented the TASTE Awards, recognizing culinary excellence at the Jersey Shore, voted on by its readers and a select panel of judges.
“The TASTE Awards begins with a slate of nominees in each category. Thousands of consumers vote on the nominees, and the top four nominees who receive the most votes become the semi-finalists,” said Jim Flynn, founder and editor of ShoreFoodie.com, sponsor of the awards. “Finally a panel of industry professionals select the finalists and then the winners.”
The awards were presented at Reef and Barrel in Manasquan.
There are so many great restaurants at the Shore, it’s hard to narrow down the field.
“It’s wonderful to see restaurants at the Jersey Shore be recognized for the excellent job they do,” Flynn said. “The restaurant business isn’t an easy one, so when you are singled out for doing an exceptional job, it is particularly gratifying.”
